SBAS Missed approach

02.02.2011

Submission:

I am developing a SBAS APV approach and I have a question concerning the missed approach turning point ATT.

It is written in the doc 8168 vol 2 that the APV segment ends at the earliest TP when it is before the normal termination of the APV segment.

My question concerns the ATT to be used for this point. The Figure III-3-5-10 shows an ATT of 0.3NM (I do not know from where this value came from...). I could understand 0.24NM as for RNP approach MAPt but not 0.3NM which seems to have come from nowhere.

Another thing is that normally the APV SBAS segment terminates at the earliest TP so it should be ATT 0.8NM after the TP (ATT for RNP approach)...

I think the 0.3 in the diagram is a typo
